The WCB gate valves are suitable for high-pressure scenarios and enhance pressure resistance through forging or thick walled casting (wall thickness ≥ 50mm). The flow channel design is mainly based on full diameter to ensure unobstructed fluid flow and avoid medium accumulation.
Adopting a full bore flow channel design, the gate is completely detached from the medium flow path when fully open, and the flow channel is straight. The flow resistance coefficient can be as low as 0.05~0.1, far superior to butterfly valves and globe valves of the same diameter.
The valve body is made of carbon steel (such as WCB, WCC) material, which has high strength, good toughness, and impact resistance. It can withstand temperature ranges of -29℃~540℃ and pressure levels of PN10~PN420.
The wedge-shaped gate design is matched with a metal hard sealing surface (welded with STL, CoCrW and other hard alloys), which can compensate for the wear of the sealing surface through the slight wedging action of the gate.
The large size gate valve is widely applicable to oil and gas field exploration, gathering, transportation, and processing systems. It allows for precise control over the flow direction of high-volume fluids.
